The Long 5A Wood Tip from Meinl is part of the Standard Long range of sticks. Covering the most popular sizes and specifications, the Standard Long series consists of drumsticks that were designed to suit many playing styles with a little extra length for added reach.

Featuring the traditional diameter of 5A sticks, the Meinl Standard Long 5A is made to the same specification as the Meinl Standard series. Featuring a standard diameter of .565 but a slightly longer 16.5 length.

The longer length serves to offer an improved balanced feel and response.

All sticks in the Standard Long range feature an Acorn wood tip for a large contact surface area. The result is a full tonal response on cymbals and drums with clear articulation.

These Meinl Long 5A sticks are constructed using Light Hickory for a robust, durable stick.
