Akiko Marutani (soprano) completed her postgraduate studies at Trinity College of Music in London, England, with a diploma in ancient vocal music. She won the second prize at the Elkydney Competition. Studied with Ms. Emma Kirkby, Ms. Nancy Argenta, and Ms. Evelyn Tubb. After graduation, she gave solo recitals and concerts at St. George's Cathedral in London and other venues to great acclaim. She has performed throughout Japan in a wide range of repertoire and styles, from medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music to Irish and other Celtic folklore, film, and contemporary music. He is also actively involved in training younger musicians. Hiroyuki Tsutsui (guitar) studied music theory, composition, arranging, and jazz guitar at Berklee College of Music in 1998. After graduating in 2000, he spent a year in Boston and then moved to Spain to study flamenco guitar. He has produced 7 CDs to date.Active mainly in Kansai and Tokyo. Currently active in live and studio work in a wide range of fields from jazz, flamenco, chanson, canzone to J-Pop.
