Description:
Peter and the Wolf" and "Pictures at an Exhibition" on the organ! Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf" and Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" will be performed on the organ using a variety of organ sounds. The organ's intricate registrations create a richness of color and intensity that surpasses that of an orchestra. Peter and the Wolf" will be read in French. It will be a treat to hear what tone each character's theme is portrayed in. The organ version of "Pictures at an Exhibition" is nothing short of majestic, and the reverberations of the church's grand complex in the opening promenade and the closing "Kieu's Gate" overwhelm the listener. This is the second best orchestral version after Ravel's orchestral arrangement. We hope you will listen to it. Tobu Shoji Co.
